We respect the right to privacy and care about data security. Personal data are treated as confidential and are protected in accordance with the provisions of generally applicable laws, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.

  2. The administrator of the entrusted personal data is the Foundation of Katyn Families of Jewish Origin with its seat in Warsaw at 4/43 Majdańska Street (04-088 Warsaw) – hereinafter referred to as “FRKPŻ”.
  3. Contact with the Inspector for Personal Data Protection at FRKPŻ is possible electronically at lucalbinski@gmail.com, or by mail at the mailing address of FRKPŻ.
  4. We collect personal information through contact forms, order forms, e-mail, or traditionally in the form of paper records.
  5. We do not collect and process data directly using the website.
  6. we use personal data:
  7. to establish and shape the content of agreements entered into by FRKPŻ, make changes to them and be able to terminate them;
  8. to ensure the exercise of rights and obligations under the concluded agreements, including to resolve disputes, collect fees and resolve problems;
  9. to comply with obligations imposed on the FRKPŻ by law, such as tax, insurance and statistical obligations;
  10. to be able to carry out the statutory purposes of the FRKFP, especially educational, cultural and scientific tasks;
  11. to be able to provide access to our collections, as well as to protect the cultural assets entrusted to us;
  12. to be able to provide information about our activities, events held, products offered;
  13. to ensure that the content on our websites is presented in an optimal way;
  14. personal data is stored until we have fulfilled the purpose for which it was collected, consent to data processing is withdrawn, a request is made to stop processing, data is transferred or data is deleted. We reserve the right to store a portion of the collected data in the form of an e-mail address or telephone number after processing is completed, in order to prevent further processing.

  18. fulfillment of legal obligations;
  19. to ensure the protection of the vital interests of the data subject;
  20. We do not sell personal data for commercial purposes. However, we may transfer data to other institutions and companies for the purpose of performing contracts, laws or statutory tasks. In particular, this includes: carriers, courier companies, postal and logistics companies, mailing services (newsletters, etc.), financial and human resources services, operation and maintenance of IT systems and databases.
  21. Any data subject has the right to access his data, rectify his data, erase his data, restrict the processing of his data, object to the processing of his data, transfer his data, withdraw his consent to the processing of his data.

In order to exercise his or her rights, the data subject should contact the Data Protection Officer at FRKPŻ.

Any data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in charge of personal data protection.

  1. We have the right to collect personal data from publicly available sources and other individuals and commercial sources. Data subjects will be notified separately of the Administrator’s possession of such data.

  2. All websites in the fundacjakatynska.org.pl domain use cookies. These are small text files sent by a web server and stored by the browser’s computer software. When the browser reconnects to the site, the site recognizes the type of device from which the user is connecting. The parameters allow only the server that created them to read the information they contain. Cookies thus facilitate the use of previously visited sites.
  3. The information collected relates to IP address, type of browser used, language, type of operating system, ISP, time and date information, location, and information sent to the site through the contact form.
  4. The data collected is used to monitor and see how users use our sites in order to improve the site by providing a more efficient and seamless navigation. To track user information, we allow: Google Analytics, Facebook Connect and Google Maps, Scientific and Academic Computer Network, which record user behavior on the site. Access of the listed entities to information about user behavior on the site can be blocked in some browsers with appropriate settings, in others – using extensions, such as Ghostery. Restricting the access of these entities may change the operation of the site – some elements may cease to be visible – but the core content of the site will remain unchanged.
  5. Cookies identify the user, which allows us to tailor the content of the site they use to their needs. We use cookies to ensure the convenience of using our sites, and the data collected is used only internally by FRKPŻ to optimize operations.

  12. additional personal data, such as e-mail address, are collected only in places where the user, by filling out the form, has expressly consented to it. We retain and use the above data only for the needs necessary to perform the function in accordance with the information on personal data processing.
